Philourgos aus Plataiai und ihnbekränze mit einem Oliven-Kranzwegen seines Wohlwollens gegenüber demVolk der Athener; und dass ersei unter den Wohltätern desVolkes der Athener, er selbst unddie Nachkommen, und dass ihm seidas Recht zum Erwerb von Grund und Haus, under Militärdienst leiste imHeer und die Extra-Steuernzahle zusammen mit den Athenern;dass diesen Beschluss aufzeichneder Sekretär des Rates undaufstelle auf der Akropolis; dass für dieAufzeichnung auf der Stele der Schatzmeisterdes Volkes 30 Drachmengebe aus demDekret-Fonds desVolkes.

The Peopledecided. Lykourgos son of Lykophronof Boutadai proposed: sinceEudemos both announced previouslyto the People that he would donate forthe war, should it be needed, [4,00]0drachmas, and now has donatedfor construction of the Panathenaic stadiumand the seatinga thousand yoke of oxen[1] and has sentall of this before the Panathenaia,as he promised, the Peopleshall decide: to praise Eudemosson of Philourgos of Plataia and crownhim with a foliage crownfor his good will towards theAthenian People; and he shall beamong the benefactors of theAthenian People, himself andhis descendants, and he shall haveright of ownership of land and a house, andhe shall perform militaryservice and paycapital taxes with the Athenians;and the secretary of the Councilshall inscribe this decree andstand it on the acropolis; and forinscribing the stele the treasurerof the People shall give 20 or 30drachmas from the People’sfund for expenditure ondecrees.
